India's Tata Tea Eyes Alliances, Acquisitions for Growth
Tata Tea Ltd. is looking to expand via a number of alliances and acquisitions, and is in talks with PepsiCo Inc. and Coca-Cola, among others, over a distribution joint venture, the Business Standard reported on its website Monday, citing Peter Unsworth, chief executive officer of Tetley, which Tata Tea bought in 2000.
