Biotechnology giant Amgen, Inc. announced Thursday the appointment of Novartis executive Jonathan Peacock as its new chief financial officer, effective September 1. Peacock will succeed Michael Kelly, who served as acting chief financial officer since May 11, 2010 after Robert Bradway was promoted to president and chief operating officer.
